Commissioned by the Investment Company of Miskolc, this development features eight apartments. The houses, sequenced along a slightly curved street, reveal a tracery with a simple basic scheme – defined by both the rhythm of terracing, which follows the inclination, and volumes which are alternately moved back or forth. The section of the units with large floor areas conceals interiors differentiated by multiple terracing on three levels. Living areas face south, while the studio needed for creative activities is furnished in a tranquil garden-facing northern space with a gallery receiving diffused light. Artists may retreat into the seclusion of the attic’s enormous terrace, which is also suited to receive fellow artists. Each apartment has a car park area accessible from the street via a roofed driveway connected to the house. Flanked by a breast wall, the stairs leading to the entrance accentuate the boundaries between the apartments. A smaller garden connects to the houses at the rear.
